Helping launch a start up to improve health & safety through artificial intelligence
Intuety (formerly called Aurora Intuitive Safety) is revolutionising health & safety in the water sector using artificial intelligence to review and improve on site safety procedures.
Chris was introduced to Simon Wright, a seasoned water industry expert and the founder of Intuety, as someone that could help frame the problem, work out a conceptual solution and assemble the required technical resources to specify, design and build the product.
They worked together to develop a proof of concept via IBM's Indian delivery centre and Intuety was then able to raise further funds to establish an in-house team and complete the minimum viable product. Chris helped Simon recruit the right engineering leader to take the product forwards and managed the IBM support throughout the build. He also made introductions to customers including those from other sectors such as rail.
Intuety has since raised further capital, won a number of awards and secured its first customers.
